Is there a way/extension to turn off or block the audio ads, especially those on youtube?

Think of it like a venn diagram. No one program covers them all, and unfortunately with cutting edge rootkits it can be damn near impossible to ever truly KNOW your system is clean.

When I'm cleaning my friends computers who use Windows, I use as many as possible.

If you do find something nasty, be sure to take it seriously and perhaps cancel your credit cards and change passwords, etc. Also ideally you should be using Google two-step authentication.

It will be so cheap it will be done without consent to babies and stored in a government database to be used against us for pre-crime, insurance discrimination, employment discrimination (GATTACA), and more.

I'm not against the technology or the wonderful things this could bring as well, but please do try to remember the very real concerns of this.
