I use a 1st gen ipad every day and netflix works perfectly. But a third or 4th gen ipod touch could really be a cheap alternative the downsize is the small screen but is better than no screen.

Chrome wa been desigbed for netbooks not sure if it will be ported to tablets. A tablet specific version of Android is been made and we should start seen tablets with it on 2012
