The mobs only have more health. They still hit the same.

However that being said, I've been soloing HC so far, I think to bonus of having your follower evens out the benefits of having a party (of randoms at least)

The game is running while you watch cinematics. Be sure to skip them if you want to live.

The Resume game button can start the game in a hostile zone with mobs - Be sure to quit games in town, and not in a hostile zone.

While the exclusion of Dunfield isn't a suprise, I'm shocked to see Doniel Henry not getting the call up. His defending has been top notch recently, and hes no slouch getting balls on set peices either..

I'm currently playing a lvl 19 WD in act 2 Hardcore, and I'm having a pretty easy time so far, heres what I'm using skill wise:

Left Click: Blow Darts with splitter rune - My main attack, I really dont like relying on attacks that move around (spiders, toads) so im sticking with what I can point and blast away at.

Right Click: Grasp of the dead with slowing rune - I use this to keep enemies at a safe distance where I can mow them down.

Skill 1: Soul Harvest with mana regen rune - Soul harvest is a MUST, when you pop this around 5 mobs, my DPS goes through the roof.

Skill 2: Haunt with life regen rune - A solid DoT skill, I throw a couple of these into a slowed group and then let it go to work. Great for bringing down anything as it will jump from trash mob to trash mob, or just drain champs/bosses

Skill 3: Spirit Barrage - I need to play around with what skill goes in here, as this spell doesnt seem to do much, if my primary attack hits all 3 times, thats 180% wep damage for 5mana compared to using this for 190% damage and 35 mana.. I think I'll need to get another AoE nuke to go here instead, just waiting for the right skill to unlock.

Skill 4: Gargantuan - Only just got this guy, but hes so much more durable than the zombie dogs.

passive: 5% chance to raise dogs - The more meat shields for me in HC, the better, I usually have at least a dog or two running around with me at all times with this build.

I'm about 2/3rds through Act2 norm in this and haven't even come close to dying yet, seems pretty durable so far.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I've seen him live 3 times over the last few years, and every time he's been a let down, I can't quite figure out why, but his sets generally dont have the feel that his production does.

I woke up early, got to lvl 11, and then packed up and went to work. I cracked a smile when I saw my buddies on IM saying the servers are down.

Leaving for work this morning was one hell of a challenge... just five more minutes!

Great game from TFC, they really gave it their all on the pitch, and got the result they needed. Hopefully this game will boost their confidence for the rest of the MLS season...

On an aside, Montreals travelling supporters should be banned from coming back here anytime soon, their actions after the game were reprehensible.. Ripping out chairs and tossing them at the fans below, spitting on fans, fighting with security.... disgusting.

All of my D2 hardcore chars were build around having a shield and max block.

I'd imagine I'll be playing with the same defensive mindset in D3 hardcore

They're resetting the D2 ladders again tomorrow, thats the best time to get in for a new round as there wont be twinked chars running amok power leveling everyone.

Yeah the whole argument is that maybe if you had a better passive on you woudnt have died in the first place.. The trick is to maximise you survivability of each encounter, having a skill that only kicks in once you die probably isnt good in the long run.

Also in the case of the Monk, the passive is unlocked at level 58, so you better plan on getting through normal, nightmare, and most of hell before even getting the passive.

At one of my first gigs years ago I was playing back to back with a good friend of mine, it was a big frat party and people were enjoying themselves to our twist on the usual top 40 stuff that was requested of us. I though I'd have a little fun and started playing around with a loop of the next track, the mix sounded great and people were enjoying themselves, I took off my headphones, gave them to my buddy, and released the loop...

All of a sudden he was the only guy behind the decks while "Step by Step" by New Kids on the Block gets dropped on the dancefloor. He was not amused.
