Strength training is not a problem but I would focus on exercises that train the whole body rather than an isolated part. An important feature of Taijiquan is to make the body move as a single unit and a significant part of this would be to train your whole body coordination and core strength. Arm and leg strength would come secondary but is of course also important.

Hitler used the Kroll-opera as the reichstag was damaged by fire in 1933. A dictatorship using an opera stage instead of a national assembly is very fitting, in my opinion.
