Most of the time, those errors are caused by missing system files. For example, if you wanna play neo geo games, you need the appropriate bios (?) files, not included with the rom. The problem occurs with several arcade systems, so be sure to check the machine your game is running on.

Once you get the said system files, just throw them into the rom folder, and off you go!
