Just try to think of something you can do in the mean time that doesn't involve paying for her. Ask her to go take a walk in the park or go play a sport, or go hang out somewhere. I'm a video journalism production professor and of course while there are some flaws, it does show a lot of good talent for composition. It's definitely better than some of the senior project videos I've seen in the media production department.

I feel the same way I also feel that "pro-choice" on reddit is just the deep seated fear of all the young twenty-something males on here that they'll knock up a girl and they'll end up having to raise it or pay child support.

I value the choice when its a medical emergency or the product of a sexual assault but seriously an abortion just because you're lazy and don't want to raise a child or even give it up for adoption, makes you a horrible person.

I think the real issue here is all your friends need to tell her to dump him. It's still ultimately her decision and she has to do it herself. Also don't make it seem like she should dump him for you, but that he isn't right for her.

I agree the plot is brilliant but man that movie is about as exciting as watching paint dry. I know this will probably rub people the wrong way, but a re-make with at least some action and a love interest would be a killer movie.

Well make sure you do little things during the date to make sure she's physically comfortable with you. Wrap your arm around her lower back when you're walking with her. Hold her hand. Touch her hands and arms when she says something funny or you agree with her.

Then when you are walking her to her door at the end of the date say "I really like spending time with you." and lean in for the kiss. Just a simple smooch and nice tight embrace. Worst case scenario she'll turn her head and you just give her a peck on the cheek.

Seriously the only way you can screw this up is if you worry yourself over it.

I mean unless you two PROMISE to move to one another, there's just no use. I dated a girl about the same distance from me and we planned on her moving to me since I'm already established in my town and I could find her a job no problem.

Time came. She chickened out, led to a really bad fight, actually got kicked out of her place when I went to visit her and her folks for the holidays and had to find my own way home over 1000 miles away.

Anyway, long story short. You two have to commit to be together or its just a giant waste of time.
