What's even worse is that the contest was already arranged for them to win. It is very improbable that people have two weather widgets showing in their opening screen.

Some person shared digital stuff he liked for the love or the fame. Other persons are trying to cause harm to a person that only shared something. Who are the criminals here ? The single guy that shares. Or the persons that consciously and with time to ponder the consequences want to harm that fellow despite not even knowing him.

Yes, learning QT instead of std::cout << "hello world" << std::endl; is better. Why ? because there is much more graphical feedback of what you're doing than plain C++. This makes learning more cativating.

Field trials can be prune to hazards like bees and insects spreading evil ^tm seeds. But research always rises the tides for all ships.

Even Einstein had a moral "confusion" after discovering and revealing E=M.C² . Research is always good, it is up to people to put that research to good use.

I mean there are zombie movies ("I am legend") that try to point otherwise :) , but, in general reseach is the path for humanity success.

Being unemployed is not bad. You can be unemployed and be developing a project or leaning more or creating a startup, or doing something productive that doesn't imply cash. The problem is when the cash-flow is negative and survival is at risk.

The goal of humanity should be high unemployment and high productivity so that we can work a month a year and enjoy the rest of the year updating ourselves.
