Nope. I'm talking about this specific case. Compare the nook to any other tablet with similar specs and you'll see that you can sell a 7" tablet for $170 and still make some money.

Besides after a while cost of components always drops, and the nook color was released more than 18 months ago.

You are underestimating, although unintended, the marketing effect of this project. 1000s of customers handling those nooks everyday.

From my own personal experience Leon feels more like a big town while Valladolid seems like a small city. Also Valladolid is really well connected with Madrid by train and Ryanair flies from Valladolid's airport.
