The girls are super chill and easily approachable, much more so than many other states I've lived in. They have great middle-eastern restaurants and the tacos are the real deal instead of the gringoized California versions. You can drive an hour away from the city and do pretty much whatever you want, blow up fridges, shoot weapons, offroad your rental Camry, bury bodies, have a desert rave party, etc. Wide abundance of wildlife near the cities still, to the detriment of soccer moms with their yapyap dogs, wide respect for history (there are still native american adobe dwellings preserved in the middle of town). The retirement community, government, and sheriff are giant douchebags though. The general police is actually okay from my experience, I know there is that cop abuse video out there but anecdotally I get harassed way more in CA by the police.

I was only bringing up the issue in the first place because it did create some drama (a transsexual being on the girls of reddit calendar), but it wasn't Saydrah it was another user. The girls of reddit calendar probably deserves a recap thread itself, they probably have boxes left unsold in the basement of a warehouse. It was feminists vs feminists, those empowered to show off their bodies vs those who claimed it objectified women, then the fact it was more SFW than a church calendar.

Someone here should have a recap thread, it was pretty big drama a year or two ago. She is a prolific poster and submitter/powermod who posed in the "girls of reddit" calendar, got accused of gaming reddit through some of the videos she did and blogs she was associated with, modded similar to Laureli, then got doxed and witchunted, complained to 2x about all the menz, then mostly disappeared for a bit but still pops up every now and then. This is the tldr biased version, the whole version is similar to the epicness of the Laureli story.

Yeah that's why I delete my account every 6 months and use a totally different user name, I don't really say much that is offensive but it only takes 1 psycho to backtrace everything you have ever done online and tie it all together. There used to be a novelty account that would post dox of random redditors out of nowhere and it was funny for a bit but after the Saydrah fiasco we all (mostly) realized this had terrible consequences and the admins banned posting of personal info.

I don't know, if it doesn't currently it will soon, they update anydvd religiously. I haven't had a problem ripping any new releases using the latest version, but that isn't to say there will never be a problem in the future.

Anydvd HD + j river media center. Both are expensive pieces of software but worth it, no region locks, I rip the blurays right to the HD, and the movies start right away, no "customer locks" preventing you from going to the menu or skipping previews.

A far more mature thing to do is shit all over the community you helped build up, because if you can't enjoy it why should anyone else?

The later seems to be par for the course on reddit, or perhaps it is just the drama that seeps through.

Note: I do not recommend this. Those dollar store owners from foreign countries seem to have no problem kicking shoplifter's asses rather than dealing with the police. What is the shoplifter going to do, call the cops and admit they stole something?
