why does God choose? perhaps the reason is within yourself. For the LORD looks at the heart, whereas men can only see the outside.

but also, remember, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. And most truly, take into consideration the words of Jesus: "I am the way the truth and the life. No man comes unto the Father except by me"

Jesus is God's way of making himself real to us. Making him your saviour changes everything about you. As he also said, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." My faith in God is entirely different than just blindly believing in something I cannot see, because of that.

true. the guidelines for judging science should not be the guideline for judging religion also. science is also not the opposite of religion. though, i too often see it being judged in such a manner.
