I always figured advertising was more about impression than action. You don't call up and order crest toothpaste when you see an ad for it, but there's a good chance you'll buy it when you go to the store because it's the only name that's familiar to you*.

* I'm not referring to you directly, just in general.

I don't think I understand what you're complaining about. The templar charge stuns the goblin, which can only be a good thing. Are you also complaining about his damage? He's not there to deal damage, he's there to take it. I stack insane amounts of vita on him and at level 35 he has about 6 times as much health as I do, plus a pretty good chance to block. What needs to be fixed?

I've never had much of an issue with them, caltrops+vault away seems to work just fine

because right now it is just impossible to progress without good gear no matter how efficiently you use your character.

How are we not all on the same page with this yet... thats the whole point of inferno, it's supposed to be impossible without gear that may not even exist yet

It's really, really stupid. I only tried it with Nova, it gives you auto-block and basically just uses the most logical attack every time you touch the screen. All you do is just tap the screen repeatedly and it'll automatically do a full ABCS-jump-BBCS-centurion rush L-super nova hyper. Flawlessly, every time, without really any meaningful input from the player.

This is why I'm not impressed by Siri.

You shouldn't be impressed if you think she's supposed to be sentient or something, but there's no denying that she's very useful, especially when you get past the phase where you just want to experiment with what she can actually process. I use it more than a couple times a day for things like scheduling calendar events ("set appointment for [event] on [date/time]"), finding my way around ("where is [business/street address]"), searching the web, etc...

Not to mention the fairly impressive dictation feature. It really is the fastest and simplest way to interact with your phone, just don't expect to have a damn conversation with her.

I'd suggest that it's actually worse. Karma is the incentive for posting, in a certain way, and often when I see something that legitimately makes me giggle I'll see a lot of complaints about karma-whoring that sound to me like, "I'm upset that I didn't think of this first"

There's one in every issue. I haven't read MAD in years but I remember them always being really impressive, it's usually a satirical scene that will reveal some sort of punchline to whatever's being discussed in the top paragraph when the middle section is covered up by the folding. That's what the A and B are, to show you where to fold.

UMvC3 is the most ridiculously fun fighting game there is, especially if you're new to fighting games in general. It gets some hate from dedicated fighter players (it's pretty stupid at high levels, it can be kind of random sometimes) but the art style and mechanics are incredibly satisfying.

I noticed that too, I honestly have no idea what that was about. Either way, I maintain my theory that he was offline. I've only had about 2 hours online after to the 150 or so off so I know how much noisier online play is.

I can understand how it'd be hard to believe without paying attention, but it's really brilliantly done. He runs straight to the grass crest shield and nabs it within 5 minutes, and gets the black knight halberd from the knight guarding it, and he uses these two items for the entire run. Since BKH isn't 100% drop, I imagine that he just keeps making that 5 min run over and over till he gets it.
