Anybody got any advice for a Barbarian (level 52) in Hell difficulty? by McWipesin diablo3

[–]moldyberry 1 point2 points ago

Hello friend.

You probably feel like you are being punished for playing melee. Most of the elite mob statuses seem to dominate melee more than ranged, but this is okay.

Here is what I do, at lvl 55. I am currently farming Act I in hell with 100% magic find and dont have too much trouble. I do die, but nothing that would really hinder my farming.

First. Press ESC. Options -> Gameplay -> Interface. Check Elective mode.

Skills:

  • M1- Frenzy / Vanguard
  • M2- Whirlwind / Hurricane

  • 1- Ignore Pain / Ignorange is Bliss

  • 2- Revenge / Provocation

  • 3- Wrath of Berserker / Insanity

  • 4- Earthquake / Mountain's call

Passive Skills-

  • 1. Brawler
  • 2. Unforgiving
  • 3. Weapons master

Key Item- 2H mace or sword @ about 350+ dps. If you dont have one, get to the AH and buy one. try to find one with Str and Vit, There are alot of trolls demanding hundreds of thousands of gold for a shitty 2H, but often times people put up good 2H for around 50-75k. Look for one and buy it.

Concept- Blow your cool downs, namely Ignore Pain and Earthquake. Then blow Wrath. Then Hold M2 to whirlwind. If you have the weapon i told you about, you will shred all mobs like tissue paper. Progress. Once you arrive at a champion mob group, let cooldowns reset and repeat.

Why are Saturn's rings nearly planar? Are all planetary rings planar for the same reason? by j6j6j6in askscience

[–]moldyberry 0 points1 point ago*

There is no definitive answer as to where the rings came from, but the best theory was that they came from a singular celestial body composed primarily of water and ice that broke apart due to the body passing the Roche Limit. The tiny particles maintained the original orbital plane, but dispersed evenly throughout the plane.

What all house hold items can be made to balance alone because of the leap year gravity change? by nestlewaterin askscience

[–]moldyberry 1 point2 points ago

Yes, this can be done at any give time. The force of the moon's gravity is negligible for those types of systems. However, you can see the effect of the moon's gravity on large hydrodynamic systems, such as our planet's oceans.

[–]moldyberry 2 points3 points ago

Any physical system can be balanced as long as the support force passes through the center of mass.

Its not magic, or a result of a lunar or varying gravitational condition. Its just simple physics

Would you support a law that states when video/audio footage from a police officer encounter is "lost" that the testimony of the officer becomes inadmissible in court? by swohioin AskReddit

A good lawyer will often voir dire members of the jury and ask them this question.

What are some examples of a perfect circle/sphere that occur naturally? by thebpfeifin askscience

[–]moldyberry 2 points3 points ago

I am concerned at this statement, since neutron stars have very high rotational velocities. High rotational velocity tends to cause a bulge, but this could be overcome by the star's extreme gravity.

Can anyone confirm?

Senate Democrats introduce the Buffet Bill, which would require millionaires to pay at least 30% in federal income taxes by sbarias20in politics

[–]moldyberry 0 points1 point ago*

Anyone who invests their money in public companies, and thus receives returns based on their investment, will be taxed at the same rate as Buffet and Romney?

Don't have the large sums of money to invest? Well that's life unfortunately. Money makes money.

TIL that the Earth doesn't actually orbit the sun, instead both bodies orbit a barycenter. by kiwirishin todayilearned

[–]moldyberry 1 point2 points ago

Astronomers use the barycentric orbit principle along with the doppler effect to locate stars that have planets.

As the star orbits its barycenter, the light from the star will experience a slight oscillating red shift blue shit pattern, since it will be moving towards and away from the earth at regular intervals. The more you know.

Why are we fascinated by fireworks? by bpkkdmsin askscience

[–]moldyberry -2 points-1 points ago

Fireworks in America originally served as a reminder for the price of freedom by imitating the sounds of cannon fire and revolutionary era warfare. People in history enjoyed watching them because it made them proud of their country's history. The positive feelings of fireworks were likely acquired by their children at a young age, who came to associate fireworks with happiness. The trend likely repeated itself up to the present day.

Can Animals Smile? by turamnin askscience

[–]moldyberry 4 points5 points ago

Almost all animals communicate through facial/body expressions. The problem is, what a smile means to humans is something different than what it means to other animals, such as a chimpanzee, where it actually means 'warning' or 'danger.'

Why is it that when ever I eat any beef at McDonalds I develop a canker soar the next day without fail? by Cha05_Th30ryin askscience

[–]moldyberry 0 points1 point ago

Immune system response is one suggested cause of a canker sore. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canker_sore

It seems likely that you are allergic to something in the McDonald's product which triggers an allergic immune response, especially considering that they appear despite what i assume is competent oral hygiene .

Why is light unable to escape from a blackhole? Aren't photons mass-less? by phunnymoneyin askscience

[–]moldyberry 1 point2 points ago

Check out the space-time continuum model: Here

Basically the theory states that the black hole will deform the curvature of spacetime, like a really heavy weight on a stretched out bedsheet, to the extent where all points inside the event horizon will point towards the singularity.

Put a different way, the escape velocity inside the event horizon exceeds c, the speed of light. Don't think about it as a force on a mass, rather, think about the 'fabric' of space time being deformed to point where inside the event horizon, light has nowhere to go except towards the singularity.

This article illustrates the point.

Can someone please shed some light on this? This must be a first where a human has possessed this kind of genetic mutation. by measter85in askscience

Here's an article found on Google.

It specifically mentions the term leukodermia.

Nong was born with a condition known as luekodermia, leaving Nong Youhui's eyes with extremely high light sensitivity and less protective pigment meaning he is susceptible to heavy sunlight exposure and eye damage.

Here is another short resource. Leukodermia is apparently synonymous with the term Vitiligio

For more on the eye pigmentation that Nong is said to lack, Here is an article from Tufts University.

43 out of 100 Americans are idiots. [x post from r/WTF] by ntc513in atheism

[–]moldyberry 1 point2 points ago

How do you know that those 43/100 people aren't suggesting that the concept of god gives Tebow confidence in himself, allowing him to overcome obstacles?

Listening to him talk, that is clearly the case in my opinion.

With that logical rationale, it isnt idiotic at all to say god helps tebow win games. Fuck, this website has become so narrow minded.

tl;dr: this comment is getting buried.

This is very easily done on a dark night with a bright light, such as an individual light post at a baseball field at night. I used to do this all the time while in the outfield.
