Same thing happened to my old Gateway laptop. I used it for 2 years after that happened without a single problem. It just isn't as aesthetically pleasing anymore. Just make sure nothing gets in there. If it really really bugs you, what you could do this cut the remainder of the grill out, obtain access to a 3D printer, design your own grill that fits, print it out and stick it in there. But as of right now I'm not currently aware of any other solution. Best of luck!
