Ready to terrorize this young generation's part-time workers! by tamakun808in pics

Yes! The MTA machine at JFK gives dollar coins as change. I've lived in the USA for two years, and it's the only place I've ever received then.

I see where you're coming from, but don't discount the fact that she might also be an awesome person, deserving of 'prom queen'.

There were various reasons to downvote you. Just for the record, mine was specifically for use of the phrase 'pseudo-humans'.

It's not every day you mistakenly receive a Nobel Peace Prize winner's mail... by InsolentWillin pics

Maticulous is getting massively downvoted, but just so everyone else understand where s/he is coming from:

Only in the USA have I seen people put so much emphasis on what a crime it is to tamper with other people's mail. It's probably a crime everywhere, but certainly not talked about nearly so much.

Also, 'interdepartmental mail' is something that you'd only be familiar with if you worked in a University, or some other very big organizations.

I've been doing it wrong my entire life... by jumpyoucuntin WTF

[–]missstar 1 point2 points ago

I've been doing it like this for years as well. Recently, a friend introduced me to the machines in bars / pubs with games on them.

On of the games is basically Spot the Difference; we've been round putting our names at the top of the leader boards on each machine. You should play too!

Instagram Wanted $2 Billion From Facebook, And Here’s Why by louiebaurin business

[–]missstar 0 points1 point ago

I'd say it totally depends how you use it.

I only follow/talk to friends & industry colleagues on there. You'll find small or large subcultures on there, eg: I bet there are loads of accountants following/talking to each other, the same for photographers, furries, high schoolers, etc.

Twitter's main failing has been not promoting the peer-to-peer side of it, and letting it build a reputation as a place to follow celebs.

Is Twitter not a social network, or does it just not have legs?

I've never really felt like interior design/furniture does much to define me, display my uniqueness, etc.

If people fill their house with affordable, functional items, that's fine by me - how they act and how they live are the real tests of character.

All this item says to me is "I want to watch TV in my house", and not much more than that.
