Rimjobs. I really wanted to surprise my girlfriend with one so while she was cooking, I slowly sneaked up behind her, pulled down her panties under her skirt, spread her cheeks and was about to go to town when she let out a fart. I was so surprised that I fell back and smacked my head on the dishwasher and passed out. When I came to, my girlfriend was standing looking down at me, just laughing her ass off as she stroked her penis.

Hopefully you can steer some young minds away from party piss water tonight and tomorrow.

Ahh okay. The guy that does your same job up in Dublin is really knowledgable as well. And always willing to talk your ear off about beer.

You don't happen to be the beer guy at the Bridge Street Kroger in Dublin by chance?

I can't speak for Cincy, but here in Columbus it isn't too hard to get. The further south you go, the less craze about Christmas Ale. I don't know how true the rumors are, but I have heard that you can find Christmas Ale into March and April down near Cincy. But like mentions above, there are better Christmas Ales out there, just none a hyped as Great Lakes.

I don't know if you're going to osu, but either way try r/osu. There is almost always someone looking for a roommate(s) over there.

What is r/politics opinion of the Fair Tax idea? by miller5499in politics

I have to agree with your suspicion about fraud and the monthly check. How could this be a source of fraud?

What is r/politics opinion of the Fair Tax idea? by miller5499in politics

[–]miller5499[S] -1 points0 points ago

I posted it after reading the BP tax write offs from the oil spill that was on the front page earlier (or still may be). I have known about the Fair Tax idea for a long time, just never really heard any discussion about it and was curious. I'm sure you could tell from my previous posts/comments, that I am not too active on r/politics. I usually just lurk here and take in all that I can read. Thank you for sharing your view point.

Where to start? by CurioQueryin engineering

[–]miller5499 1 point2 points ago

Your plan is nearly identical to the path I took. I got out of the miitary a couple years ago and am now majoring in mechanical engineering on track to graduate in a little over a year. I took classes through AMU (diploma factory, I know) and actually finished an associates degree in Web Publishing while still in the military. I recommend using you tuition assistance as much as possible. As far as what classes to take, there is a pretty good list of ideas that others have posted already. The associates degree route worked for me, might work for you as well. Let me know if you have any military to college specific questions. I did not long ago and the transition can be difficult. Good luck!

I wonder how that guy found himself in that situation to begin with. I don't know about the rest of you, but I would have seen that shit start to get out of hand, and quickly found a way out, or quickly found a weapon. The muggers were completely moronic, but that guy did himself no favors either.

Any engineers here live/work in Wilmington, NC? Mind giving some advice? by miller5499in engineering

[–]miller5499[S] 0 points1 point ago

Well my wife used to live in Wilmington and loved the area. We both lived a little while away (Goldsboro) for a couple years as well and made frequent trips to Wilmington and Topsail. For me, I could sit at Buddy's on Topsail beach and eat shrimp and drink cold beer all day everyday and never be happier. So basically, we both love Wilmington. We are open to that whole East Coast though from NC to about Jacksonville, FL. Or maybe the panhandle of Florida as well. Anyway, we just love it there.

I'm really interested in Energy and all types of vehicles (cars, boats, planes, ironman suits, ect.) but I'm willing to work in some less glamorous industries to live in a location that we both love.

We also have considered Raleigh, NC, but prefer the coast, so Raleigh is kind of low on our list despite having better industry choices.

Noted. I'll check those out. I was going to try r/Wilmington next too. They only have a few hundred readers though so I thought I might have better luck here. Thanks!

What skills and/or experiences, other than an internship, will help me land a job after graduation? by miller5499in AskEngineers

That is pretty amazing. I'd love to see the plans to make something like that. I just thought turning an old fridge into a kegerator would be cool. Not even close.

I can do a little bit of CAD. Would your suggestion be to just e-mail some local companies that might be interested in CAD work? Would I offer my abilities for free or try to get a minimal part time gig?

Noted. As somone who has read a lot of resumes, what is your opinion of military experience on a resume. How much space should I devote to my military experience?

I had thought about this idea a bit. My idea was to help my wife expand on her business idea. She currently sells crafty and creative things on etsy.com, but would like to expand that a bit. I thought I could help her with inventory and money (it is a very small operation right now) and the online/technical portion of her project. Does this sound like something that fits the bill?

Thanks for the detailed advice!
