In Jay's defense, he has little to do with this. I'm sure NBC has a gaggle of lawyers and bots coming the web for any video that ever appeared on NBC, regardless of where it originated, and automagically send out takedown notices with little human interaction. So what this guy should do is file a takedown notice against NBC's site that is showing the Jay video that contains his video.

There are a lot of other nice roads in that area that don't have the reputation/lure of The Dragon and therefore don't get a stream of lunkheads driving/riding above their heads. A have a lot of motorcycle friends that won't touch that road with a ten foot pole because of all the idiots on it. Nothing like coming around a corner and finding someone half in your lane.

If it was me and my wallet, I'd just suck it up and keep the car with the automatic. After only 3 months of ownership you will take a HUGE financial bath on this car if you trade it in. And while I'm no expert in modern car electronics, given the way automotive electronics have taken over all aspects of automatics and engine management and merged them in many cases, a conversion isn't going to be cheap either.

Bottom line, only you can decide if the financial hit you're going to take is going to be worth it or if you can even afford it.

holy crap, that's a pretty shitty policy. I can understand the credit card surcharge since mc/visa hit them with that (although as I understand it, they're not allowed to charge extra for cc, so they must word it as a cash discount). But the electronic check?

Seems like if you were so inclined it would be better to rob college students near registration time than attempting to rob a bank.

This is very common. When I was looking I found several swingsets that were free for the taking. At a certain point people just want to get rid of them. Same with trampolines.

Having said that, I went another way. I wanted something our daughter as well as the wife and I could enjoy, so I bough a couple commercial type swingset joints, swing assemblies, seats off the internet, and some galvanized steel poles from the local steel place. We now have a swingset the whole family can enjoy. You're not putting a 200lb man on one of those wooden sets and having it stay up.

At one time SA was my favorite beer, but then i moved on to more niche beers. A couple weeks back, in order to get a free SA glass, I bought their 12 pack assortment. I had forgotten how good the Boston lager was. Damn good beer.

Love this tire gauge . It has a bleed valve and a clip on air chuck so I can fill and monitor the air going in one handed. Works great on my motorcycle as well - the hose is a big help in that instance.

Yeah, in the dead of winter I can see a certain need to sit in an idling vehicle with the heater running. But I can't keep track of the number of cars I see idling in parking lots on beautiful spring days. You would have thought $4 a gallon gas would cut down on that, but no.
