How well does GrooVe IP work?

I've used both GrooVe IP and Talkatone. For call quality, I prefer Talkatone. I think GrooVe IP is a more polished/seamless app, though.

The tough thing about VoIP on 3g is not so much limited bandwidth as it is high latency. This tends to result in a 500 - 3000 ms delay when talking. If you're going to be using the T-Mobile $30 plan, it's worth noting that minutes over 100 are only $.10/min so it may be worthwhile using GV over mobile network while off WiFi and using GV with either GrooVe IP or Talkatone while on WiFi.

Rent stabilization and rent control are two different things. The number of rent controlled apartments may be 40,000. The number of rent stabilized apartments is a lot higher. I think about 1 million.

It won't work because T-Mobile pre-paid numbers can't forward calls to Google voice. However, if you port your current number to Google voice, you'll have no problems. People will call your current number, you will set up GV to forward to your new T-Mobile pre-paid number and if you don't answer, it goes to GV voicemail. If you do answer and have screening on, you press 1 to accept and talk or press 2 and it goes to GV voicemail.

exteras was incorrect. The plan is limited only to new activations meaning if you were on a prepaid plan that was not this plan already, you couldn't switch to it using the same pre-paid SIM/number you already had. Have to get a new pre-paid SIM kit and take the new number that comes with it.

Incorrect. It's for new activations only. I was a T-Mobile contract customer from 2008 and activated the $30 plan about a month ago.

I've been saying this since he got here. Too many examples to even remember but the most egregious was when we were playing FC Dallas in NY. It was 101F that afternoon and Backe's first substitutions were made after the 80th minute. And he only used two. Against a team that routinely trains in 100+ heat. Bone-fucking-head.

There is already transit service at the proposed location. JMZ Essex St station and F Delancey St station. Restoring a service where no other track/routes exist and where that service is already covered by existing service (JMZ) is boneheaded and horribly wasteful of resources.

I don't know the suit news story but propersuit.com does fittings by appointment in NYC with a $150 deposit that you can then credit towards the purchase of your suit. Full suits are $650 and up, depending on materials.

I am thinking of getting an appointment for a blazer. I think they can be had for less than $400.

Do they not draw fans? I remember their inaugural season at Frontier Field consistently pulling 10,000 - 14,000 and subsequent seasons hovering around 10,000. Haven't been to a game since I moved over a decade ago so maybe the atmosphere is a bit different.

Latency really depends on your network connection. When I'm on Wifi, there's very low latency. On 3g/4g, it's anywhere from very low to almost unbearable (200ms - 3000ms).

Computer not recognizing your phone may be due to using "fast charge" when connected via USB. Not sure where this is in settings but you can disable it and then connect via USB and mount, etc.

No it isn't. That's a professional photo from the movie which means it's either Blue Steel, Ferrari, or Le Tigre. The only time Magnum was shown was at the Derelicte runway show and it was never shown in a professional photo.
