I've been fortunate enough that all my years in tech have been working for software developers and internet service providers so, for the most part, demands on my skills and time have been realistic and reasonable.

My hat is off to those here who've had to deal with managers, clients, and colleagues, and others with little to no clue of what is actually possible and the time, effort, and expense that goes into making it happen. All too often these people have no idea of the debt of gratitude you are owed.
