Woman attempts to overtake someone, hits a 75 year old man, drives away and then denies it all when confronted by jazlocin videos

Yeah. Except instead of getting 500$ he would've got 50,000,000$

Yeah, I'm 240 lbs, I like to standup and stomp. I also get carried away with downshifting midstroke

There are some big contributing factors to breaking a chain: lube status, using gripshifters/ making broad multiple gear shifts all at once, riding in bad gear combinations weakens the chain and wears the gears, riding out of tune, generally being a clydesdale and powering through shifts, particularly front derailleur shifts. I personally break chains more than I flat, but am getting better discipline.

Just Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix playing Football/Soccer back stage by Alias28in Music

I don't believe in gods. Not a criticism, just stating my view. Bob Marley loved soccer and could have had many more years of it, worst case ,with a prosthetic foot. In my view he gave all that up to become worm food. He kept himself insulated in a screwy belief system, and no one close to him was able to say: "Bob, you really should go to a good, science based western medical center and see what they can do about your foot" for the record, I have a huge collection of his music, I respect and look up to him. I think magical thinking is so sad, and he is just another victim of it, really we are all victims of it, even those who don't subscribe to it.

It sounds like revisionist history

The guy declined treatment for curable cancer because of religious reasons. Rastafarianism is one of the most completely ridiculous religions of all, BTW. So yeah, Bob Marley's invisible freind wasn't really there, and I'm not afraid to say so. Get over it

Foolish religious magical thinking was the real culprit I'm afraid

How do you guys find the time to MTB almost every day? by flinters17in MTB

[–]mattomatto 0 points1 point ago

Moved to be a couple blocks from a great trailhead. Ride at 5am when no one is calling, emailing or even on my mind yet. Nothing distracting ever pops up to prevent my ride that early in the morning

I seem to experience brain fog for most of my day - what could be the problem and how can I fix it? by Tzeentch99in Health

Could be sleep apnea, a hideous condition if not treated.

is there any app to automatically set the phone on vibrate on a specific lotation? or depending on the hour ? or take out the vibrate mode by night? by permalacin iphone

[–]mattomatto 1 point2 points ago

I figured it out. You have to add the app to notifications in settings, then you get the location option.

Ron Paul is very slick and he carefully sticks to the easily digestible part of his philosophy.

Shifting problems. Need a gear guru. by tomboarderin MTB

[–]mattomatto 0 points1 point ago

Firstly, you should only adjust by a quarter turn, then shift all the way up and back down, one gear at a time. Then repeat. Eventually you tune it in. Eventually, you are tuning it to the sound of chatter. Should be equally shifting up and down with no chatter while in a gear. If it chatters on one end of the spectrum, but fine on the other, the deraiileur hanger is slightly bent. Moreso if it is tuned on one end but ghost shifting or chattering loudly on another. You obviously need a stand to do this right. And a mech hanger alignment tool.

The Paul/Austrian argument in a nutshell: inflation devalues currency and discourages simple saving of dollars (This part is fact). Investment from saved money is inherently more conservative than investment from borrowed money, and thus leads to a more stable economy with less bubbles and turbulence (this is the claim). So... safer nest eggs, college savings and retirements theoretically. You may disagree, most do, but it is not an incoherent or hard to comprehend philosophy.
