How to discuss evolution in a job interview by schmiditin education

[–]markokane 0 points1 point ago

Can't up vote this enough. You are an educator. Creationism is not education, its religion. If they won't hire you because you have "believe" in evolution (science) then run away...run far away.

Unless they are a faith based school, then I guess the I wonder why you are applying.

I really miss learning from reading...when I was young I would do it on my own all the time but now I don't have time with school :( Can anyone suggest any great biographies, autobiographies or really interesting non-fiction books? by caseymagpiein books

[–]markokane 0 points1 point ago

I enjoyed it as a book that covers a variety of topics. Only book I have read of his. But I also enjoyed the Don't Know Much About series by Kenneth C Davis

Both come to mind when you asked about reading and learning.

DrawSomething loses 5M users-- this is why I don't think WP needs to play catch-up by A-Typein windowsphone

[–]markokane 3 points4 points ago

Microsoft needs to find a develop to create the next DrawSomething, Flipboard, Zite, or Angrybirds.

Just copying other applications isn't going to draw new users. That's why they help create Halo, Gears of War and other Xbox exclusives.

We need NEW content, not copied content unless its an app that is a must have like Skype, Facebook, etc.

I think they are all under Gawker. I have not read Gizmodo in a couple years. Ever since their CES incident, I have not been interested in reading what they say.

Just a point. Potting Soil not regular soil or you won't gain the wicking properties and draw water up to the plan.

Very cool design. I like the use of Political Signs :)

Edit - Just noticed all the holes on the soil bed. You really don't need them, the net pot will be good enough to draw water through and keep roots from growing down into the water.

Instagram for WP7 will be called......Facebook with Instagram photo editing.

I doubt Facebook will have two different social sharing products that revolve around pictures.

Man of his Word Series by Dave Duncan

Magic system is based on Magic Words that once shared are diluted and become less powerful. So people want to keep them secret. Also interesting twist on the more words you know the more powerful you are, up to a point.

Find a copy of Better Off Dead. That and Ferris are two of my favorites.

Gross Pointe Blank is a good one too.

Oh..so better insertion and a better position during the discussion. One that provides the parties full access to stimulate the conversation. Does the mean that he participates in backdoor arguments, deep throated conversations on today's theories and tends to spray his thoughts in his opponents face?

Smart people do dumb things. Dumb people do Smart things. One instance of either doesn't create a Intelligent or Dumb person.

And all those things he achieved? Didn't teach him a damn thing about courtesy to people of the opposite sex. More of an idiot for that than dumb.

Of course Kennedy and Clinton did equally stupid things with women, so I guess its a matter of perspective.

Uh...I hope you don't drink coffee or soft drinks as the caffeine in them violates 1 Corinthians 3:16–17 (ESV) where it dictates you are a steward of the vessel that God gave you and by desecrating it in any way you are sinning.

What about stress? Based on medical studies, stress causes a lot of damage to the body. So, Christian's stressing about people smoking pot are sinning because you are causing damage to your own body. Maybe people should focus more on your own body and stop worrying about others?

Yes, your post was most likely sarcasm, but just wanted to leave a point for others to use when they passionate Christian friends start spouting the same crap.
