Like how it kills my Trillian session if an app is too intensive :|

I want to upgrade my firmware but it does not support a language, anyway to compensate? by cant_make_up_my_mindin AndroidQuestions

I don't know much about custom firmware (got a Nexus device) and I never really got away from a vanilla Android system, but maybe someone did an unnofficial port of CyanogenMod 7 which I think has arabic support built-in.

And I suppose it was in 2.3.4 on your Galaxy Fit?

You mean the keyboard doesn't let you use the keyboard layout you're looking for, or the overall system doesn't offer the language for the menus?

I'll try to help you as much as I can, regardless of my lack of knowledge about the arabic language :P

Mass upload to Drive by method77in AndroidQuestions

[–]m-p-3 0 points1 point ago

Which is normal, the Share feature doesn't allow to specify a destination folder for now.

I guess you could manually move them afterward from a computer. I'm not sure if you can move files from within the Drive app.

I wish Google would automatically do this conversion. It would save me a lot of hassle. by kru5hin google

I would gladly welcome such an addition, but I would rely on Wolfram|Alpha for that kind of query.

Fuck Silverlight by asdf0125in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]m-p-3 5 points6 points ago

I wouldn't directly blame Silverlight on that one. The original developer attempted to use a tool that wasn't designed for such a task, so it's no wonder it failed miserably.

You did the right choice, and now the application is platform-independant. Good job :)

Probably why they don't offer it, because they can't control the software on it.

Yeah, but what's the point of buying a capped package if technically I can't use it to it full potential..

They can't touch the Nexii firmwares, it is part of the distribution agreement they must abide from Google.

Then they're selling above their capacity, which isn't bright. A byte is a byte, no matter where it comes from. I pay for 6GB, and I'll use it as much as possible.
