The lanes are entirely too wide is all. It seems like it either needs to be one lane with some turn lanes so people know exactly how they're supposed to drive, or it needs to explicitly be two lanes.

I'm fine with it being one lane, but no one drives on it that way which leads to more confusion.

I've heard this explanation before as well. It always struck me that their system is fairly impressive in its ability to counter questions that reasonable people would have.

Nice! This is so interesting. I'd like to see a study where cats are placed at nursing homes around the country to see if the exhibit similar behavior. Maybe try some dogs too just to see what happens.
