good question. I'm not particularly certain, but all I know is that cameras that capture a framerate over 60fps (from my past experience with cameras) typically are more expensive, as they are deemed "specialty" and moreover a highspeed camera. such as the red-one or phantom hd gold: they can record over 60fps. but again, those cameras are very pricey.

what you are looking for basically is a high-speed camera.

EDIT: today I'm sure there's cheaper cameras that are considered high-speed.. you'll just have to look, as I unfortunately am uncertain of any cheaper brands.

if you're looking for film-emulation you want 24fps. don't confuse shutter speed with framerate either, I don't know if you did or not. hope that helps somewhat.

Aim for Downer Woods.

It's basically anything east of campus, and is much quieter than the west and south sides of campus.

The further east, the better.

Edit: also try to stay way from the big house owners. Typically you can tell them apart if they have a busy schedule and have coin laundry in the basement.
