Like blobzorz said, they likely are not looking for tons of knowledge with this position. Show that you have a good, positive attitude and a willingness to learn the way that they do things in the shop and that you can follow directions without asking a million questions, but still being able to know when you've put enough time (10 - 15 minutes) into it yourself to ask for help. Keep in mind that what they want here is someone that they can trust to make their job easier, someone they can give simple tasks to and let them learn/grow on their own.

Make sure that you use cash for those non-loyalty card purchases if you want them to remain anonymous in any way as they try to use multiple points of data when shoppers are not feeling loyal.

Also the real concern with these loyalty cards is not what you mention but future possibilities. What if they start selling your grocery purchases to your health insurance company who then denies your claim for blood pressure medicine because you bought one yoo many sweet products? Don't get me wrong, I use a loyalty card as it is too expensive otherwise (that is the scam right?). Just saying this is something we should watch out for.

Check out ansalonmud.net 8679. I believe that we fit all of your requirements. We try to do a lot for the explorer crowd. Rp is encouraged but not required for any part of the game. On my phone now but let me know if you have any questions.

If you enjoy good beer a good hobby to get into is homebrewing. It costs about $60 - $100 to get started and then kits are between $20 and $35 or so (check northernbrewer.com or midwestsupplies.com). These kits provide 5 gallons (or 2.5 cases) of craft quality beer and the hobby itself is very fun. If you have any questions let me know, I posted this from my phone so I probably left stuff out.

IMO, it would be a great thing to add to your client to make it stand out form the others. AFAIK none of the other clients support MXP (or, MSDP for that matter). Both of these would really suit a mobile app (especially MXP, which allows the players to see clickable html-like links in game).

I'm not sure how applicable this is for the client side of things, but you may want to look into KaViR's protocol plugin for many different mud code bases.

I did this after the last MLG and got a very similar robo-email. I was psyched because I figured I would get some monster or a coupon, all I got was a few shitty monster stickers that I would never put on anything. :(

True however, he was no longer promoting the event. He was telling everyone who had already planned to come not to come because it was canceled. He was trying to get his message to people who already knew what the event was, so why would there be a need to explain what it is anymore?

I always love it when Tasteless does this, it happened at least twice during this past GSL season. Every time it happens he does that slight delay where he giggles to himself inside his head first, then lets everyone else enjoy it as well.
