Would love to have you on board good sir. As for your advice, I do none of the acting, and it is all "sorcery" to me. Would you also be interested in helping with sound editing and cleanup? If you download the mod, the files are all there to be tinkered with, although I know there's only so much that can be done with bad mics, but early on I just didn't know what sort of talent pool I had to choose from.

As for acting, there is a Microsoft Word file with lines on the site. You can send sample for both acting and sound to kristakahashi@gmail.com

All kinds of characters. I'm aiming for 100 NPCs, and the number of variations of old/young male/female man/mer/beast should result in a lot combinations.

The most important thing is quality acting. Some people have sent me samples and they just read the lines with no emotion.

Right now there is a script on the Nexus site in the "File" section in a Word format. Check it out and tell me if there's a character you want to voice, then send me a sample. If there's no characters you like, just keep checking for updates as more get added every other day.

Also make sure you actor has a preset voice in the "Traits" tab under "Voice Type." I've found you can't record unless you pick one. The problem, of course, is that this method means your character's greeting will be different from his/her dialogue.

I feel your pain. For weeks I tried to decipher those stupid wall carvings trying to figure the claw doors out. I even started to see things that weren't there, like some of the braziers burning brighter than others indicating which carvings were to be studied.

Eventually I resorted to the same brute force technique. After a while I just got so frustrated with claw doors I Googled the answer, to find the markings were right on the damn claw all along! It wasn't even a puzzle, all you do is match the pictures. What a joke. What a joke I am.

Yeah, you have to sort of roll with the glitches and limitations as they come.

In other words, my plan was to make it that given Rolff's history, no one would suspect he was murdered. Instead I have to be satisfied with the fact that he is even more convinced of a Dark Elf conspiracy, which makes his views seem even crazier to the people around him.

Rolff: I was poisoned, I tell you, POISONED into attacking them darkies!

I had planned out this dude's death for almost an entire week. To cover my tracks, I got a potent frenzy poison from the alchemy shop in Falkreath, and then rode to Windhelm.

I proceeded to shadow him for days, committing his routine to memory as he left Candlehearth Hall every night at midnight. Before he began to heckle the Dunmer, I'd slip him bottles of mead every night so that he'd get in the habit of drinking at that time, thinking the divines had blessed him with free booze.

Then on the last night, I slipped him the poison and swiped his dagger. He drank the bottle and went into a frenzy, and got slaughtered by the Dark Elves leaving the Gnisis Cornerclub.

Needless to say I was pretty fucking pissed when he didn't die.

There's just way too many Western fantasy games, and not enough that explore Asian mythology.

I'm still waiting for Japan to make an open-world game in a Feudal Japan setting, which is why I hope Skyrim succeeds over there and changes the paradigm. Way of the Samurai was probably the closest thing they had but those games were limited to a single town.
