IMGburn works fine , once the .CDI add on is installed. You could also try booting the game with a normal cable and switching it at the right time, just after where you would get the , cable not supported screen.

Some VGA adapters have a switch to composite out put. All games will boot like that and you can switch back just after startup (by sound of CD drive) to VGA out put and it will work.

Also there are VGA patches for all games, but it's easier to just download a good copy of the game you want again. All releases are self bootable now, unlike the old, old ones where some needed a boot disk.

Right now they are loosing money. This won't happen unless there is one day a gap in the market that needs to be filled and Sega is in a financially healthy position to do so.
