No I'm not. I've lived in it my entire life. I was there at National Stadium Karachi for this epic match -- the best match I ever had the pleasure of witnessing live.

I watched as Pakistan chased what initially seemed like an impossible target of 349 to the point where 6 runs were needed off the last ball, and as Moin Khan skied it we all had our heads in our hands, willing the ball to go over the rope. It was taken by the fielder and Pakistan had been defeated by India by 6 runs.

We were stunned for a moment, but as the players made their way, the entire capacity crowd gave the Indian players a standing ovation for a thrilling encounter. Signs were being held up in the air that read "Thank you India for coming to Pakistan!"

Cricket won that day and it still gives me chills when I re-live that memory. Call me naive, but I choose to hold that moment as the true spirit of Cricket in the sub-continent.
