Ok, I've probably mained Kass since I first bought him a year ago and one thing I found that completely changed my idea about how weak his very early game farm is, was investing in a regrowth pennant at the start. Now this may sound awful but think about it. You can sell the pennant when early lane is done and lose 135g but you more than make up the amount by being able to last hit easily from the very start. Think about it, you can make 135g easily lasthitting in 2 waves, where as if you start a more offensive item vs some comps you are forced to merely last hit with q. Since I've learned to go regrowth pennant and a pot I've at least tripled my 10min cs and that is HUGE. Even traditionally rough ad carries like cait or vayne are much more manageable. The key is to focus on last hitting until level 3 when your Q really starts to hurt(harassing with lvl 1 Q is pretty much a waste of mana). There are very few opponents who can outdamage you when you are constantly Qing them and regening hp. I beg you guys to give this a try it will blow your mind how strong kass is starting at level 1 with just some regen. Everyone knows how strong kass is midgame once he gets a few items, now just imagine how good he is if you can get those items at least 5minutes earlier.
