The "talent" aspect is more of an artistic ability. Like the inherent skill of good design and style. The education part comes in when you need to transition your thoughts through design programs. With fucking youtube you don't really need to invest either the time or money in a graphics degree. Like you said, build a portfolio and hone your craft but fuck the school. If you're good enough your work will show it.

Awesome concept though, one straight pole that has been welded together by its two ends. I guess, theoretically, that once there is an objet between the two portals its up to the strength of the object to determine how much or if you could even move the two portals.

Junior year I walked to the next class over to get my friend as class had ended. Walked up to the Coach/Teacher, I only said "Whats up"? I had him the year before and did this almost every other day because we had to get to the bus. For whatever reason, the coach just started yelling at me to get the fuck out of his face and to get the fuck out of his classroom. Both my friend and I never knew what happened.

The Dyson Sphere collects 100% of the stars power as its wrapped around the star. This guy is just absorbing 99% of the energy in its path as it orbits the star. Seems like it might be a more efficient way for a massive scale energy source. Modifying a gas giant into a huge solar panel might be more cost effective than a Dyson Sphere.

X killed my love for the franchise... They killed the world map, and went way too far out on a j-pop kick. 1-9 will always be in my collection, but unless they change their ways... Bethesda has my money from now on.
