No conversation about making a good steak is complete without a reference to this article from Steamy Kitchen.

I sent a card and I didn't say anything about reddit. I'm sure 80% of the other people who did the same thing didn't mention the site as well. Relax... we are just trying to make someone happy for a day.

Can we please make this guy the happiest person ever for a day?

jasenlee 3 points4 points 3 days ago[-]

Trust us... we're not going to shitcan his day. Reddit is full of good people and we do things like this a lot. We're going to make your granddad happy.

EDIT: Along with many others my card is already on its way.

Shit... I just finalized my order. Thanks for the coupon code but I already ordered. If you want you can still apply the discount. :-)

I was the guy who ordered 2 minutes ago.

I'm not going to say it. I'll let someone else do it this time.

Palm brings improved multitasking and Node.js to webOS 2.0

jasenlee 1 point2 points 5 days ago[-]

I really hope HP can do something big with Palm and webOS. I don't want to see us in a 2 man shoot out with Android and the iPhone. Yes, I'm leaving out Windows, Blackberry and Symbian because I don't see anything truly innovative. Google and Apple keep coming up with new and interesting stuff. webOs has the same potential but lack of market share to execute. Hopefully HP can remedy that. Competition is good.

I think this is awesome and I'm not trying to be insensitive but rather understand the issue more. Read this quote:

"I can't think of anything more important than to help the university attract world-class minds to ultimately seek a cure for a very Scottish disease."

What makes it so Scottish? Is there a higher rate of it among Scots?
