A little backstory I suppose...I guess you could say I've lived a semi-brave life up until today. I dabble. Sure, I compliment the average joe for their hard work. I'm not too worried when it comes to insulting your below average joe on their lack of hard work. I tend to be a little more bark than bite though...Crocs looks incredibly comfortable...I've expressed this to some select close friends...even my wife...they all told me never to get them though...so I listened. I stay quiet when Michael Bay comes up. But HECK, I even hate Twilight!

I woke up today like I do any day. I had some coffee, prepared myself for a morning class, and then off to work with me! Thank goodness there wasn't a lot of work because my Bravery-Tank was running on fumes if you know what I mean. I get home and immediately strip down (not sure if anyone else does that but I like to walk around my house in the ol' birthday suit). The day is mine! ...but not everything in the day is mine. I'm only up for carpe'ing half my diem.

UNTIL! You guessed it...3 hours ago I walked a fine line...I read a comment in this thread that gave me a GENUINE laugh out loud (or lol...not brave enough to use that yet haha right?). I thought to myself "Shit self, that was funny...I could just upvote the guy like the rest of them...OR I could let him know that I, personally, was one of those upvoters and that he gave me a good laugh this afternoon. Now hold up just one minute...WE ALL KNOW you can't just go around lol'ing and telling people you thought that was funny...shit it would be straight to the gallows with a ninny such as myself. SPOILER: This is when the Bravery kicks in. I went for it. I thought surely I would regret it. As you can now see...I regret nothing. I will go to bed tonight with a better perspective on life, a braver mind, and a bigger heart.

FINAL EDIT: An AMA on Bravery has been suggested a couple times. A good idea...however, I fear this AMA would only flatter and humble me. There's no room in my life for such fanciful things anymore. My eyes are set on the Brave prize. Now is not the time to weaken one's resolve to maintain Bravery.

For PURELY educational purposes, I am considering a "Bravery Workshop" though if the demand is there (I clearly have more than enough supply!). PM for Dates and Times and I will keep you all posted.

A few points we will probably discuss:

• First and foremost, when to tell someone they are funny.

• Which provides us an easy transition into "When to use LOL?"

• "All politicians are idiots, but politics are such a sensitive issue." We'll talk about how to bring up your concerns to large groups.

• "Christians are stupid. We already know this. But there are so many of them...I never know if it's appropriate to speak up." Trust me...this is but mere brave baby steps.

• "I don't think Justin Bieber is talented and I want him to actually stop being alive. I fear this kind of thinking will get me in trouble..." Poppycock.

• A few people have problems when certain topics are brought up such as: "I hate Twilight, but don't know how to tell others", "I will literally go blind if I see another Michael Bay movie, but it seems so many people like him...what do I say?", and of course "Nickelback is the worst band of all time, but is there an easy way to express that disdain?" We'll cover the hard hitting issues.
