Which is the better place to move to? Cincinnati or Columbus? by gleebo2020in cincinnati

[–]infinitecosmos 1 point2 points ago

You're posting this in r/cincinnati...most people will be biased towards the Queen City. You should probably post the same question in r/columbus and see what they have to say as well. I have also lived in both cities and find Columbus more friendly for young adults. While neighborhoods like OTR are awesome and growing in Cincy, The Short North is much more expansive and has A LOT more to offer. Columbus also has a bigger downtown and the public transportation is great (better than Cincinanti's IMO) because High Street acts as the central vein of much of the city. Columbus also has more of a liberal attitude if that's your thing. The Arena District is also filled with with many bars and young professionals looking to have a good time on the weekends. I like both cities but I feel like Columbus is a better fit for you. DESPITE all of this, Cincinnati is slowly growing in terms of becoming more friendly for young people and will prob be a much different, more awesome place a few years from now. Just saying.

Agreed. Considerate, intelligent, logical and reasonable. It's unfortunate that these 4 simple qualities are so hard to come by these days...

An organization in at my university called PAC (Programs and Activities Council) hosts a FREE concert on campus every Spring. They recently announced the artist this year is Big Boi, with Kendrick Lamar opening. Here are a few of the posts on PAC's facebook page by AppreciativeGuyin hiphopheads

[–]infinitecosmos 1 point2 points ago

I know this school and they have always had great hip hop artists play...Common, Talib and Hi Tek, The Roots, Luda. In defense of the dummies though...the majority of the population does not listen to what we hiphopheads consider good music. Big Boi and Kendrick Lamar aren't big enough for the general population. Let the dummies dumb and the players play.

What is the boner policy with nudists? by BrianDouglas86in AskReddit

You know...I'm not sure. Since "lol" isin't commonly used in a non-interweb/real world setting, I don't think either is correct or incorrect. Never really delved into it that far, I suppose.

Best Restaurants for Lunch? by Turrrrrrin Columbus

[–]infinitecosmos 11 points12 points ago

That's like asking where's the best place to see run down houses in Detroit--so many options! For real though, it just depends on what kind of food you want/where you'd like to go. Dirty Franks if you're downtown. North Market is amazing. Loads of options on campus (I'm a big fan of Gooeyz, Graffiti Burger). Short North has plenty to offer. So does Clintonville (Nancy's is great...more breakfast-y though). Eat all the things! Man.

I am Greg Porn, part of the Legendary Roots Crew, AMA! by IamGregPornin IAmA

[–]infinitecosmos 0 points1 point ago

Porn, much love for doing this. Like most here, I am a big follower of The Legendary Roots Crew and hip hop music in general. Couple questions:

  • How often do you and Tariq freestyle while in the studio/on the road? It is my hope that ?uest gets in on it from time to time haha.
  • What is it like collaborating with non hip-hop artists? How does that change the vibes you guys have going on in the studio?

Live from 215, peace!

Also, tell ?uest to send over a signed drum stick--I caught the last one he threw out at 80/35 in Iowa a few years back and some A$$hole jacked it at a party hahaha.

Regardless of how sexy this is, does anyone else find this very disrespectful to the respective countries?

Well, it's not necessarily that I'm cheering FOR the Knicks--just more so that I am a fan of Jeremy Lin's story and that it is extremely enjoyable to watch the Knicks' style of play with him as an integral part of the lineup. When the Knicks and Celts play, I will be Boston all the way.

I think since the "Linsanity" has started, A LOT of people have become Knicks fans. Even myself, to some extent.
