NAS Good for a few users/home network. Relativley slow, smaller storage drives. Nice and cheap to buy,and easy to use and small. Also useful for backing up data on networks as can this can be done overnight.

SAN Good for larger networks, fast, relaibale, expensive and sometimes complex to setup. Use for large number of users and big storage and expandable storage. If you need fast drive access and raid 6 arrays that can do de-duplication of data to save space for for SAN. Good for running Virtual Servers too (Hyper-V).

Well that's how I use the two.

These are test I have done and set candidates... - Upset the BIOS (diasble boot, rest time, Disbale Network,disable video and USB) - Make the RAM loose. - Make IDE to HDD cable Loose so no boot device present. - Remove PSU from motherboard, or introduce faulty PSU. - Swap K/B and Mouse over.

If the machine the boots then other issues include. - Dispay properties wrong for monitor. - Network proerties set to incorrect fixed IP and DNS. - Some Windows featuresuninstalled. - No virtual memory. - No printer installed (ask them to print a message from a USB drive)

Then a written test on scenarios, problems and how the candidate would go about solving them.

That usually does the trick.

I remember in 1998 getting a Commdore Amiga with a Video Capture card and connecting various security and video cameras and taking screen captures. Making stop motion animations and also making movies from VHS Video captures. Putting Cameras on tripods and using it as a scanner to scan artwork and magazines. Exciting first days of all this stuff and the Amiga was great at it.

In fact searching through the garage last year I found some 3.5" Amiga floppies and theVideo Capture software. Wonder if I can read these disks? Tried a few Amiga Emulators but the floppies won't read in a PC.

There's nothing like a compassionate paster who leaves the door open in a loving and caring manner, so that a person can return to the church after a persiod of difficulty or reflection, and this letter is nothing like that!!

Also does this paster not know that once you are saved,by grace not by works, you are also saved eternally?

I would recommend that this paster study Romans and Hebrews. God is a loving and forgiving god and will alway forgive sins committed.
