My gift to you rideit. The amazing manual from the best riding school in Calgary. A great refresher for veterans and an awesome guide for newbies. by hatatain motorcycles

[–]ibbob50 1 point2 points ago

YYYYYES!!!

I lost mine years ago from Too Cool, and I was too shy to go back and ask for another.

TCMS was awesome.

This manual is great, thank you so much for posting it up.

RideIt, this is my newest edition. I've had her since November! by CigarDogin motorcycles

Hahaha... Next time I make a video for YOU, I'll turn the camera around. Promise! Good call though, it could use more forward-facing footage.

They had 40" in the last week... I was there for the first 12"! Sadly, had to go home and work.

Snowboarding, you make me happy.

The video looks best in "original quality" (if you've got a speedy connection!)

Samesies.

Dropped my bike. Think I twisted the forks slightly. Need advice. by bogeythrimin motorcycles

[–]ibbob50 0 points1 point ago

Yep, what StumpyHamilton said.

I've had experience with this too. My bike got hit in a parking lot, and on the ride home, I also thought my forks were bent.

Get the bike up on stands, weight off the forks. Loosen the triple clamps, give everything a good wiggle, and tighten it back up. Worked for me! Straight and true.

You really are mean-as-fuck! All the bikes and the Element are in fine shape. Thanks!

Isn't that why we motorcyclists get along so well? We're all "unsafe and stupid" according to most people, right?

:)

I know... it's not the safest solution, and it bugs me a bit. I wish I had a truck to throw bikes in, but as of right now, it's the best I can do! There's always the thought in the back of my mind, "what happens if the bike gets loose back there?" A bad accident would be very bad indeed.

I got that wheel from Princess Auto. Just type in "wheel assembly" in the search bar of their website. You'll find what you need!

Here's how I loaded the DR-Z. Front wheel had to change for transport!

Exactly!

Pretty simple really. Single folding ramp, load it up in there backwards. A second man makes it a LOT easier.

Yep! Sportbikes require 2 men due to their weight/dimensions. When I loaded the DR-Z, I was by myself, and it wasn't bad at all. The super low tailgate on the Element helps too.

Yep! Helped to clear the tail fairing. I could've taken it off, but I went for the lazy solution instead.

The WR will fit too, but you have to put a funny tiny wheel on the front axle to drop the front end enough. I posted pics of my DR-Z inside here:

Here's a couple more of my DR-Z inside too. Had to um... modify the front wheel a bit :) !!!

It's not the prettiest vehicle around, but boy is it useful! I use my Element to haul my CBR's and my DR-Z. ("Get a trailer!" I know!)

Is that really V.Rossi? It would make sense... MotoGP season starts in Qatar (the car has an Abu Dhabi decal on it).

I could see Ferrari inviting a Ducati pilot for a test drive. Lucky son of a gun...

Those headlights remind me of a jack-o-lantern. Or the Green Goblin.

Either way, not saying I dislike it at all! I think it looks good and snarly!

*Edit: I'm a sucker for projector-beam headlights too.

Tristan Lentink was hit. He was in very very bad shape in a hospital for a long time. But yes, he survived.

No idea if he's still racing.
