They're not. They are permanently changing their businesses to personal file locker storage only, no more sharing.

Use jdownloader..it's as good as any torrent client, but it's for file lockers, video sites, whatevs! Just highlight some links, click "copy" and jdownloader instantly pulls em in, checks to make sure the files do exist, then plows through the queue like nobody's business. You can copy a link to any video site's pages and jdownloader will queue up the flv/mp4 vids on the page. It's awesome, just now i don't have any links to download :(

No. Although it was almost entirely old docus, there started to be lots of newer shit posted since the founder died, and some of the admins took over. Now everyone is just shitting bricks and they've deleted all the forums for fear of revealing admin/user identities. Given the atmosphere of fear, I'd rather not send any more attention their way out of respect.

A couple of us users over the shoutbox have commited to gathering what we can, and one of the admins had commited to starting a new blog with what files we can muster...i'll PM you when it happens solojo :)

True. All came originally from personal vhs recordings from the site owner (and they weren't half bad either:). None were ever sold on vhs or dvd, only aired on tv. They all had a true market value of $0.00

I feel you bro! But at the same time, i read on a backwater forum about a guy who had uploaded to a bunch of file lockers with a 2011 new release movie that had generated more than 400,000 downloads between all the lockers. Dude got almost $15,000 in "affiliate" bonuses. That's an obscene amount of cash...it's no wonder everyone who works in the entertainment industry has been willingly "leaking" new releases of every single movie..$$$$$$

One of my favorite documentary sites used mirrored MU,FSonic,FServe links...now all gone. Sad, all were super rare tv documentaries from 20-40+ years ago. The founder of the site died last year (no clue what his locker logins are), and now it is settling in that hundreds of these old docs are perhaps lost forever. I don't think we can count on anyone putting copies of these docs back online, given that they were never really popular files, but nevertheless they were some of the most interesting and education docus I've ever enjoyed. So long my friends, so long.

I believe wupload shares some of the same owners with filesonic. So no, it's not safe.
