You seem to be making the point it is rather an impossibly to actually grasp the scale of such an object.

How do you propose to build any of those new energy systems? That is where will you get the power needed to research and build them?

With out the large scale use of fossil fuels you would have never made it to a point to build those other energy systems.

The energy cost of replacing all the fossil fuel systems currently operating will be very large.

All those systems which pull energy form the environment will have some effect on the environment.

Also how are fossil fuels not biofuel?

Then go live in the woods and stop using the internet. Even on the environment the difference of the two will not be large, you will think it is bc Obama will say things that give you a hard on, but nothing will significantly change. Tell me what major impact has the president had on the environmental front?

If you want change stop using the broken system. If you really care about actually helping the environment, you should try and get people to go to Washington bc the government isnt doing enough to help to environment, not bc a person who probably wont be any different form this other person is now president.

A new survey has revealed that young people are responding to tough legislation and increasing levels of online spying by investing in VPN services. It found that when compared to 2009, 40% more 15 to 25-year-olds are now hiding their activities online. by DrJulianBashirin technology

Im saying that if killing murderers and letting tax payers live is worse than not killing murderers and killing tax payers you should go stab taxpayers and not give any money to the government.

Which of course makes no sense, because your counter point doesnt make any sense.

Stopping the government form having the money to bomb people with depleted uranium might be worth stealing some fresh water from the rest of the people paying taxes, that is what i am getting at. Is it? that is your choice to make, but the point is never taking a bad action gets you stuck supporting worse actions.

What would an F1 car look like if there were no restrictions on development? by RockOnSeanin formula1

Your not going to get a very good vacuum, but you can get the airflow under the car to be very high relative to the flow around the other sides and greatly reduce the pressure of the air under the car.

Right, but there comes a point when the detriment to society from some terrible atrocity undertaken by government is worse than the cost of stealing water or some other resource. If you can not opt out of paying for the atrocity while still paying for the water you must opt out of both since the cost is lower for that action.

Its sorta analogous to being at a local minimum on a graph, you will have to do something costly to get over that peak to a better minimum.

Consider the following,

The government you live under does the following,

controls the flow of fresh water to its subjects kills, rapes, tortures other peoples not of your country

You don't pay taxes

Do you then forfeit the right to water? Should you?

Do you have a larger moral obligation to not steal water or to attempt to prevent the human atrocities?
