The weekend of Memorial Day, I would say. All weekends have their merit. To be honest, we can't actually control a lot of the day's quality. The patrons are what make or break a day out at Faire. Friendly cheerful patrons make a big difference.

That aside, Memorial Day is typically a high-traffic, high-energy day. We also do a short memorial service in honor of servicemen.

Due to my obligations throughout the day I am unable to organize a meetup or be responsible for one, but it would make for a pretty sweet meetup.

Try the Scottish Arms on North Sarah Street right off of Forest Park Parkway. Excellent Scottish food, full bar, servers in kilts, it's pretty cool.

Hey, you know why pipe smoking isn't as popular nowadays? Because a lot of people that smoke pipes are a whole lot like you- elitist assholes that make joining the pipe smoking community a daunting and unappealing task.
