DAMN, you have (had?) it rough. At my worst I was pooping 10 times a day. How did prednisone work out for you?

I think if I had to go that many times a day I would really consider the surgery.

Yeah I'm also on lialda, i don't really know what it is doing but so far so good. I'm just hoping that I'll stay in remission with each drop in prednisone dosage. Currently taking 30 mg from 40 at maximum, dropping 5 mg every friday.

Well we only have 3 readers apparently! I am 17, was diagnosed with UC a few months ago and am on prednisone. The prednisone sucks but I'm being tapered off of it, and my poops have been wonderful.
