Heal + Ignite. Flash can be substituted for either, but because Tristana's escape utility with her W + R is so great, flash is usually unnecessary.
Ask for an offensive support. This is not necessary, but 110% desired.
Prioritize your jump until you hit level 6-7. Or you can put a point into W then E, and switch off.
Once reaching these levels, assess your HP and the opponents' HP, and the possibility of a jungle gank.
If there is no imminent danger and you have more/about equal hp than your opponents, then harass a bit with your E to wear the enemy carry/support down in preparation for your rape train.
W, E (you can E/shoot/R in mid-jump), ignite, autoattack, and finish the poor saps with your ult. Feel free to ult early if you're confident that your ignite + E ticks will finish them off.
After the lane phase, prioritize FARMING. Not counting Kog'Maw (W range steroid, Q passive AS steroid + W magic damage because everyone gains more max HP at the very least through leveling) or Ashe (due to her great arrow + frost shot), Tristana is the best scaling AD ranged carry in the game. She ends with 712 auto attack range (correct me if I'm wrong) and has a NINETY PERCENT attack speed steroid with her maxed Q. Ridiculous. She scales beautifully.
Never jump into a teamfight. This is not the laning phase anymore. Once you get your IE, Q + right click. That should be the ONLY SOURCE of your damage, except E ticks and maybe ult to kill secure. Save your ult + W for escaping at most times.
If possible, never show yourself until the initial period of blowing of spells at the beginning of a teamfight has ended. This allows you to most likely not be caught by gap closing/ranged spells, for they've already been used only 2-3 seconds ago.

Are you joking? She may be your mother, but she, like most parents, are terribly wrong very very often. I agree that you should just ignore her and don't let her get you down. No offense, but this can hardly be counted as a success when Nasus and Skarner are literally 500 elo material. Skarner runs from the tower, but instead of going back in to finish Jax off/help Nasus, he goes to the minions to farm. And Nasus just runs around the tower until he dies, I don't know. Not much of a win when the opposition is pure derp.
