Best way for me was to just play with friends. When we chat on skype and stuff we talk about how the pros are doing etc. Naturally, browsing TL and Reddit follows as a result.

Plus, the entire experience leading up to that moment was great. A jump-scare can still be great as long as it's not the focal point of the horror element.

I especially liked how the sheer drop appeared. Inserting the enemy behind the player at that point is a good idea because it would be natural for anybody to turn around at that point.

Make sure that you relax your hand when you play. Don't push it too hard in any direction and don't grip it too tightly either.

When I was a little kid, I mostly played single player games, such as Commander Keen, Jill of the Jungle (which has amazing music btw), Super Mario World, Super Metroid, etc.

When I started hanging out with friends more, we went through Smash Melee, Soul Calibur 2, Halo 1 and 2, etc. all the way til college. We still play some Smash Brawl, but a lot of us play different games now and don't play each others games. It makes me a little sad.

I play a lot of Starcraft 2, with a couple friends, a bunch of my old friends play League of Legends, one friend plays Dota2, etc. We're just kinda scattered. This will change when Diablo III comes out, though...

To me, HD-280's have the opposite problem. They are not bassy enough. They have amazing isolation, and the clearest highs, but they don't punch enough.

I've never used them with a proper headphone amp, though, and I've heard that that will help.
