Yeah, and in fairness it is a good solution, I don't have this problem a lot though. I was just being disagreeable with the comment.

Incidentally, I just tried this in my interpretor. It was totally cool with mixed tabs and spaces. Having a wrong indentation will create a parser error, but tabs and spaces can me mixed with no problems.

I think that bugs in code should be visually discernable by reading the code. If I checkout a tree I don't want to have to ensure my whitespace and line endings are correct in every file before I start reading them. I want to look at the characters in the file and be able to follow it unambiguously.

{ } solves pretty much any problems of having tabs instead of spaces... The issue isn't that there aren't regexes to fix this, it's that visually it is a non-obvious bug when you are reading the code.

With the exception of kernel code, all code in the android codebase is 4 spaces and not tabs.

Yeah, nothing I like more than having code not work because someone committed tabs instead of 4 space indentation. Now that is just super easy to debug at a glance. Needing to turn on special characters in my text editor to show which whitespace characters have been used is just the best.

Is the campaign still bugged? I tried getting a gf into it a few years ago, she got stuck on the 6th human level I think and when we looked it up, engine patches made the single player unbeatable :\

Study suggests that feminine math/science role models do not motivate girls. by possiblywrongin science

I said more of your time not all of your time. You are trying to argue against a straw man that isn't there. And yes, people that love business start their own small businesses or apply for entrepreneur grants, they don't just socialize with people all day. People who love what they study, do more than the bare minimum to get by.

If you actually loved engineering you would be spending more of your free time with the guys playing with arduinos making cool projects because you can't get enough engineering. You can claim to love it. I would say you love the idea of engineering more than the practice.

Calling bullshit on a lot of what you said. I have 2 engineering degrees (computer engineering and biomedical engineering, halfway through an MS in computer engineering as well). First I will grant you that a lot of professors in engineering are bad at teaching. This is why many good universities have two pools of professors, one that is great at teaching and the other is great at research. You don't seem to be passionate about engineering so it could be you are just at a sub par university. Frankly, a lot of engineering education needs to be self driven. You need to want to learn the material, and teach it to yourself. Even with how hard the classes are, you will not be a great engineer if you are not motivated to keep learning new things about your field after you get your degree. If you don't you will be a sub-par engineer. Maybe your people skills will make you a better manager, but it doesn't sound like you work well with other engineers, so I don't see any success in that future.

As it turns out making engineering enjoyable is no one's job but yours. Your classmates, that you view as two dimensional nerds, love engineering and are passionate about it. So, some people are enjoying engineering without the help you are asking for. I have friends who were great EEs but their passions also were in music and they were djs for the college radio station, others were EE and also interested in programming, they work for yelp now. Hell I knew tons of engineering music double majors. Our school improv group had several engineers in it. Many of my Chem E and Mech E friends loved going out and partying, drinking and talking about everything but their coursework. If you honestly believe all engineers are socially awkward nerds who never get laid and don't know how to have a good time then you have never made any attempt to get to know or befriend any of them.

You aren't carrying some cross by being a "normal" person trying to get an engineering major for society while not socializing with the "undesirables".

I can tell you straight up why I imagine most of the other engineers aren't interested in you. Part of it is you clearly aren't interested in them. The other part is they think you are stupid. Which you may very well be. It's easier to bullshit in business and art. Engineering requires you actually learn testable facts and skills and use them. You must be self motivated to learn them. Drop out and get a business major. Keep in mind even after you graduate, if you want to go into engineering, you will be interviewed and asked technical questions by the very people you don't like being around, and if you get a job you will have those people as co-workers for the rest of your career in that field.

I played B&W with the expansion. My creature ate its trainer before it was done teaching me how to train it. I beat the shit out of that monkey and swore. Then after futsing with the awkward controls for another hour or 2 I gave up on it because it just wasn't easy enough interact with the game. I heard 2 was better. Played it for about an hour then switched to a different game.

Fyi, water temple on 3ds is easier. It has colors to show what level each trigger will send the water to. In the 64 version you just had to experiment and remember. Also, BigGoron sword quest now has map indicators, so that got the EZ mode treatment as well. I mean if you are really stuck, just go into the "wtf do I do" stone (also a new addition), that shows you how to beat the game. It's in the temple of time or next to your house.

As for cleft lips, burns, stains, even hermaphrodites I have no problem with those modifications. People are allowed to have complex ideas of what is acceptable to them. And if nature deals you a bad hand physiologically, I have no qualms with people fixing that.

Before you undergo the transition you certainly can't know what it's like to be a man. You have no idea what it's like to grow up as a man. Which I feel is fundamental to knowing what its like to be a man in society. You know what it's like to live currently treated as a man. Though in many cases people can see that there is something off or different about trans people (physical traits that don't match the sex). So, you cannot know if they are treating you as a man or as a trans person they have identified and are specifically treating you different than they would other men (consciously or subconsciously).

Interesting studies, it would be nice to do them with more than 20 people since that is hardly enough for any statistical meaning. Still, interesting work.
