I used to do them all the time in an active tanked, cruise missile raven. Upgraded to CNR later and that added a bit more DPS. Did it in a Rattlesnake w/ passive tank with no problem. Plenty of ships can do WC.

This is not bad timing. This is bad recon. You cannot do sites in a system without scouts next door and expect to live very long. Sorry but if you have 6bil for ships you should have enough to put eyes next door so you can have advance warning of enemy movements.
