because promod was 90% source and 10% 1.6. you're out of your mind if you think people didn't give it a chance. everyone fucking WANTED it to be the next game, and reunite the community, but it was fucking awful. not that i dont appreciate their hard work and effort, but they basically re-made source with a little bit of 1.6 thrown into it, and it wasn't even close to what everyone was led to believe it was gonna be in the original video.
