Anything but tanks/AA - NO (fml, cant read, tired). You can use the environment to help you dealing with other tanks. Also placing your tank behind a building or something similar, jumping out to fire your rpg could improve the chances of winning the tank battle. That is, while your main gun is reloading.

They are just visual trees, so yes, you can. Any tree that looks like crap is just visual and you can go through it.

Never liked flares. ECM gives you opportunity to sneak up on unsuspecting enemy jet. And yes, I deploy it as soon as I hear the lock on beeps.
