Hi, please help! i'm designing a website as a favor for a family member - and I have a question about adding MLS quick searches (idx i think it's called) to the site, it's driving up bananas! by ig_88in RealEstate

[–]dylan_dev 0 points1 point ago

Sometimes an area mls will allow you to just link to the public mls site and frame the site with a realtor's information, that's just a parameter appended to the url

check with the local realtors association office to find out what your options are, you'll get better answers than here

This is in the wrong subreddit, a trailer isn't real estate to begin with.

Where can I find some investors? by tusharchutaniin Entrepreneur

Great, use your student loans, the return on investing in yourself will be greater than the interest on the loan. Having that cash committed might persuade an investor to get in too. Borrow the max, just don't spend it stupidly!

That is awesome, I wish I could find a slightly better price on a 27. The only one I've seen so far has been $529 retail at a big box sports store.

Wow, ok. I like the idea of just replacing the barrel. That makes me want to lean heavily toward the 27. I'm shooting tomorrow, will let you know what I find out.

I will shoot both before I make a decision, the conversion possibilities with glocks is great. I'll probably get a .22lr conversion either way for fun.

Thanks buddy, good points. I had read other posts online saying the same thing about 40 and the small frame.

It's a lot of marketing to pull in an audience on a slow night. I wouldn't bite. Kinda reminds me of the satanic cult at the civic center.

I think we could be friends, so I'll do a better job answering your first question.

Who do you believe owns, or can own land and natural resources? Individuals

What entitles them to that ownership? Owning property is the fruit of an individual's labor. It's yours, it's the motivation for working.

What entitles them to government protection for that ownership? Government's only purpose is to protect life, liberty and property. Owning property is essential to liberty. If you can't own your property, then you don't have a right to your life and liberty.

Proponents of progressive taxation would argue that "broader" and "fairer" are self-contradictory. A broader tax base and a lower rate does affect more people, but at a lower rate. I'm not saying that disadvantaged people should pay higher taxes, but that all people should pay the lower rate.

Individuals have a few specific rights. You have a right to life, liberty, and property. Without these things, we don't have freedom. So, for a corporation to use the power of the state to take your property attacks the fundamental pillar of your other rights.

You can read up on John Locke for the philosophical argument.

I'd like to see the state liquor laws changed dramatically. I think we're all adults that can make good decisions. We have laws already that punish those who hurt others when alcohol is involved.

Personally, if I can get refrigerated beer and wine in liquor stores as a first step, I'd be a happy camper. I think that's a good first step to changing our laws. The refrigeration issue is blocking us from obtaining higher quality brews.

You have a great point. For questions of liberty, I think it's worth it.

I don't like the TSA. I think the VIPR program will soon take over our highway weigh stations and bus/train terminals just like our airports. I also don't like the Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security and the federalization of local police. Oklahoma was fine without these programs before and it will be in the future.

The federal money attached to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is an example of the state government gladly taking federal dollars. I'm still speechless that they caved.

"The Economy" is vague and full of platitudes

Although I don't have specific spending listed that I'd like to cut, I have areas that I'd like to look into: Higher ed, Office of Juvenile Affairs, Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics. I don't think any department is above scrutiny.

But yeah, I can see how you'd think it was vague.

Do I own my body? Can I put whatever I want into it?

Sure, I think Oklahomans are capable of making good choices. I don't think the security of our community is derived from laws prohibiting certain behavior that affects the individual.

"Defending Liberty" is again just sort of vague

I'd like to ask the reverse, what federal program is good for our state?

Firstly, I just want to say thanks for all the great feedback. It's one thing to hear your friends and of course your Mom say things like good luck. It's another to actually get critical feedback.

I knew I'd get it from redditors :)
