Since we don't have a game thread, can someone please tell the refs in Sacramento that the Lakers are playing so poorly that they don't NEED to fix the game?

I'm currently playing an Infiltrator on the hardest difficulty setting, and very rarely am I forced to put away my sniper rifle because I'm out of ammo. Maybe you should place your shots better? Equip armor upgrades for extra ammo reserves? I don't know. Ammo drops are fairly frequent for me and I don't miss much.

But no, I'm playing on 360, just like you. Scanning still isn't an issue. If it's really that bad, skip all the planets that don't have a "Rich" rating. You'll still come across plenty of extra resources for upgrades.

In all actuality, though, the stories in the two games aren't all that different.

That's about it. And really, the entire arching story about the Reapers and all that nonsense is fucking stupid, if you ask me. So there's this race of organic/synthetic hybrids of unknown origin, who create species just to watch them grow and ultimately kill them all off? Just to do it again? Uhh...wha? Why? Just because they can? To pass the time in the cold, endless abyss they reside in?

I know the story isn't finished yet since we still have another game to go, but it's pretty stupid already if you ask me. I don't really see a whole lot of directions they could go with this that would satisfy me.

But regardless, you honestly think the combat, of all things, was better? The planet scanning, the ammo, the story...I disagree with all those, but they're understandable. After playing every class and beating the game several times over, I found this out about ME1's combat:

No immunity? No biotic lift/vortex?

You're fucked.

Cover system? Grenades? 95% of ammo upgrades?

You're wasting your time.

Enemy biotics?

Knock you over, cooldown time perfectly coincides with you getting back up.

At least in ME2's combat, you had options. More classes were more useful, and regular enemies didn't have cheap tactics that screwed you over if they got lucky and caught you once with it.

It absolutely does. Do you even know what "AMA" stands for? It means "ask me anything". So basically, the entire point of the subreddit is for someone who is or has been through something extraordinary or interesting to be able to shed light on the topic for those who are more ignorant.

For example, there's this on the front page of IAmA right now, which the OP validated herself. How many people performed at the Super Bowl? Only a couple hundred, from a very specific area?

It's obviously something that nobody else on this site has done, and something that many people are interested in. So we ask OP questions, and she helps us understand the situation.

On the contrary, what you're suggesting is that it doesn't matter if the person isn't who they say or didn't experience what they're claiming. In which case, they can't offer any insight or interesting tidbits to the curious public of reddit. Pretty much defeats the whole purpose of the subreddit. If you're not really an insanely prolific hooker that makes six figures and has a few dozen bastard children spread all over the country, you can't exactly help me understand what it's like to be a prostitute.

If you want to just make up crazy stories for people to believe, write a novel. Otherwise, GTFO of my /r/IAmAs.

I usually just call them Mickey Mouse a few times and ask why they're still up past their bedtime, then immediately mute them. Hearing their high-pitched shrieks begin "HEY FUCK YO...." right as I hit the "mute" button always gives me a good lol.

Rapist had a broken arm in two places, not exactly an easy wound to deal with when you're trying to rape someone; and an easy wound to use to your advantage if he attacked.

He said there were two of them in his original post, and that only one had his arm broken. Now his protector gets put in solitary and rapist #2 has a free pass while #1 heals.
