so then the DPS on the weapon does not take into consideration the gems...
sorry, i think i'm misunderstanding as some of the comments above say that they do.

interesting. so then why when sorting by DPS in the auction house does this not seem to be the case? i.e., the sorting order seems to be off (not in ascending/descending by DPS).
