They should have a right to peaceful assembly. Standing in front of someones car/house door/drive way to not let them out is not peaceful protesting.

I don't think it matters. He can appoint who he wants, the supreme court is a check and balance, whoever he appoints has a duty to uphold the law of Canada, not Harper's vision.

I'm for a mix. You can't have technology and research without large cities. Also, transportation just isn't good enough yet to support a world were everyone has their own farm. Vancouver is nice right now. It has a mix of single family homes and density. That's what you want. Problem is our transportation sucks because buses killed the train back in the 60's so no one built infrastructure.

Exactly, charity doesn't work because all the extra money we have is spent on things we don't get any decision on.

There are homeless people that are mentally insane, some because of the wars that tax money was spent on....a vicious cycle if you ask me.
