How could they be a better candidate if they don't even want the job?

The lengths you seem to want to go to be right are staggering.

I'm not sure I agree with you.

There are lots of non-engineering jobs out there that have no interest in paying the salary an engineering grad should expect.

Liberal arts degrees aren't necessarily without value if you don't end up working exactly in the field you study.

I do think that there should be less aid for them, but not none.

There's definitely a lot of change, and difficulty in that the basic data doesn't compare apples to apples for many reasons.

Here's a gut reaction: The difference in total dollars earned in a lifetime for a liberal arts graduate and a high school graduate is diminishing, but still favors the college grad.

The number of liberal arts majors has increased and their utility in the economy has decreased. I think that is a fair assessment.

More technical degrees are most likely retaining their value.

The statistical analysis is difficult, but it happens.

There are studies that attempt to capture the difference between people who graduate during recessions from those who graduate during periods of normal growth.

How do you suggest calculating the benefit of college over a lifetime of employment if you only count people under 30?

Don't mind the downvotes. Reddit seems to dislike hearing this absolutely true set of facts.

This album is really impressive. I highly suggest it to anyone who appreciates arrangement and musicianship. No hiding behind effects, it's a bunch of top notch acoustic musicians who are influenced by all sorts of music.

I don't think that does it justice. It's just a bunch of guys who happen to play acoustic instruments.

The new album has a modern R&B song, some classic jazz influence, orchestral, elements of electronic arrangement.

Also, with all of the "This isn't bluegrass" talk that happens all the damn time...people need to learn how to just deal with it. Most people here like the sonority of the instruments more than they are married to any particular style or traditional elements in song structure. Bluegrass is still a common reference point for the players and the audience, so there it has come to live in the common parlance.

The crowd sits on the edge of their seats as they are left to wonder: Will Jackal_6 allow for something totally pointless to be turned into an argument?

My empathy stops where funny starts, usually. Some call it a character flaw. In fact...everyone does. Or they did. I'm so lonely.

Africa is experiencing some of the biggest falls in child mortality ever seen, anywhere (x-post from r/globalhealth) by falafelcopterin Health

And as child mortality falls and income levels rise, people actually tend to have fewer kids.

So, you sort of don't know what you're talking about. And by "sort of" I mean "definitely".

Yes it is. Go to some clubs where real musicians play, not mainstream rock or indie clubs.

There has likely never been a time of greater musicianship, it just isn't on the radio.

You were listing successful former SNL cast members.

Why are you trying to prolong this pointless discussion?

And yet you mentioned Randy Quaid.

Eddie Murphy is likely the most successful SNL cast member if you're looking at box office receipts. Your own dislike of him is not the topic.
