I agree about the story, I didn't even have a script just a storyboard. My main goal was to make something that looked/felt cinematic since I had recently got my 7d. Story came second and that's a mistake I hope I never make again. I made it as an assignment for my visual storytelling class during freshman year. I do think that you would lose a lot of the overall effect by cutting it significantly though. There are absolutely shots that drag but for the most part it is to keep up a slow burn. Otherwise I think the story would feel even more slight than it does now and ultimately less satisfying (if the pace doesn't bother you). I appreciate your comment though, thanks!
